It has been an interesting Saturday today, after dismantaling an 8 by 6 greenhouse for the allotment I sat through two games of football, the first saw Germany make Argentina look like rank amateurs winning by 4-0 – even England managed to score 1 goal (sorry two if you count Lampard’s goal). Argentina were terrible, Messi looked good but rarely ventured outside his own half and Tevez when he managed to keep his boots on looked like a rabbit caught in a car’s headlights. Germany now take on Spain who unfortunately beat Paraguay.
I say unfortunately because lingerie model Larissa Riquelme promised to strip if Paraguay lifted the world cup next week but given the 1-0 scoreline today I guess football fans around the world won’t see any more of Riquelme sporting her mobile phone firmly between her ample cleavage!
For the most part, Paraguay looked very comfortable against the much fancied Spanish side but it wasn’t until Villa’s goal secured the game that Spain looked anything but champion material. By the time Villa hit the back of the net Paraguay were a spent force and were hanging on for dear life – not even a vision of Larissa Riquelme would have listed their spirits.
Only time will tell if Mobile phone companies offer Larissa work to promote cellphone coverage!!!
Space Station
I’ve just come back in from a beautiful summer’s night after watching the space station flying overhead. It was very very bright and boy was it fast! One interesting thing though, there was a smaller light travelling ahead of the space station. It was on the same trajectory and appeared to be moving at the same speed. Anyone know what that was?
