Interesting episode this, the second of the second series which saw Lincoln and Michael on the run from the law! After a thrilling first episode, “Otis” was always going to find it hard to better the first and highly anticipated episode and unfortunately it failed to get close. I was disappointed with this episode, it seemed to me that they just threw it all together, just like the attempt to break LJ out of the courthouse.

Probably the most interesting part of the whole episode was the paranoia shown by all the escapees featured in the episode from Tweener who felt the heat of the train station and the glares from passengers to Lincoln who thought everyone recognised him. One woman did and she flagged a police car down while the two brothers were inside a hardware shop looking for aids to help break LJ out. The pair escaped and Lincoln made a call to his son, unaware that the FBI had tapped the public phone.

Meanwhile the vet had managed to sew T-Bag’s hand back on without anaesthetic and the thanks he got for his trouble ? T-Bag put the vet down, that’s right he killed him! I’d hate to cross him on a bad day! He leaves the office in the vet’s Jeep en route to Utah! Tweener gets a lift to Utah from a college student Debra Jane, I hope he doesn’t do anything stupid!

Linc and Michael’s attempt to rescue LJ from the elevator failed thanks mainly to the water pistol (yes I did say water pistol) falling to the floor. A scuffle ensued and Lincoln had no alternative but to let his son go. The pair ran away and despite being shot at by the police escaped the evil clutches! However once the dust had settled Lincoln realised he had been shot and was losing blood.

It was a weak episode and I reckon a filler. If this wasn’t on the back of the first episode I might have felt differently. With Lincoln shot in the leg and the hospitals (and vet) out of reach, i think the only thing left for Michael is to call his love interest “Hot Doc” !!! I hope Sarah Wayne Callies is in the next episode, I missed her tonight ! With the others now on their own and surely en route to Utah I hope we get to see more of Sucre and Abruzzi. I’m getting tired of how clever Mahone the FBI agent is!
