Good to see the British public got the voting right on Love Island last night with Lee and his ear leaving the resort until they all meet up for Sunday’s finale. It came down to him and Chris Brosnan in the end, the public deciding to vote for the cad rather than the whiner, and how he whined, day and night, night and day – sounds like a Cole Porter song, Fred Astaire I think! I digress…..

I have to admit I was a little surprised he lost to Chris, I thought the votes would have gone for someone who stirs the pot and not just goes around kissing anything that moves, I guess we’ve all had enough of the acting and immaturity he has done over the last six weeks.

It also looks as if Sophie has turned things around, especially after her 10 hour day in the workhouse with Brendan. Despite my negative posts over the last six weeks I have to give kudos to the girl, she did well and never gave up; you can’t ask for more than that. Brendan gave her great support and as both celebrities acknowledged, they couldn’t have done it without each other and half a dozen potato peelers, all broken by Sophie!

Last night also brought us the revelation that Kate Lawler has a verruca! She was only too happy to show the camera her bad foot in the beach hut and when Kelle mentioned how pleased she was that no one had a verruca on the island, it was poetic editing by the producers! Loved the line from Kielty when they went in live to the resort and mentioned verruca’s, Kelle couldn’t control her laughing while Kate held on to Brendan for dear life, deeply embarrassed! So that’s it for another installment from love island, Lee’s gone and another celebrity joins him on Friday.
