Just finished watching the new series from FOX called Vanished. I thoroughly enjoyed this and was in fact more enjoyable and entertaining than I expected. Is it me or are shows getting more complex and multi directional these days ? I hadn’t heard any of the pre air hype, didn’t know what the show was about or who was in it. I’m glad I went into it fresh.
The show revolves around Sara Collins, the beautiful young wife of prominent Georgia Senator Jeffrey Collins, she has inexplicably vanished during a charity event held in her honour following the amazing work she has done for good causes. Her daughter is also missing but she is found hours later by a SWAT team at the home of her boyfriend. The first show lays the foundations and introduces us to the main characters including Gale Harold as Agent Graham Kelton.
The show is fast paced and a superb addition to the Prison Break stable, it will also benefit from a superb listing time immediately following Prison Break on Mondays. Rebecca Gayheart stars as Judy Nash the investigative reporter who stops at nothing to get to the story. Eager to move ahead she pleads with her boss to take the Collins story. John Allen Nelson plays Senator Jeffrey Collins, who is struggling to come to terms with the fact that someone has kidnapped his wife.
