Leo to return to Love Island !

I’m not going to write too much about the goings on in the resort tonight and concentrate on two people, well actually that should be three! Bianca, Calum and wait for it …. Leo. Yes despite Bianca’s infatuation with Calum her dream date, despite the snogs following Leo the Lion’s departure, Bianca is feeling guilty!

Now I’m not sure whether ITV producers decided when Leo was evicted that he would be returning or if it is due to Calum and Bianca getting on so well they decided to throw yet another curve ball by inviting Leo to return to the resort!! Whatever the reason, it’s a classic!!!

Leo will be returning to the island on Sunday I believe it is and will certainly shake up the snug relationship between Calum and Bianca. I seriously can’t wait, although that would mean a quicker ending to my weekend which I don’t want. So I guess I am looking forward to it but I can also wait !!!! I hope that makes sense !!!

Ladies and gentlemen, the Big Dog is back !!!

Watching ITV’s Aftersun tonight, I just love the chemistry between Paddy (Patrick Kielty) and Fearne, on screen husband and wife. Paddy just hinted at the relationship not being as good as last year’s wife Kelly Brook. As he said it (sarcastically), Fearne and Jayne squirmed knowing where the comment was directed! For those of you not aware, last year Paddy co presented with Kelly Brook but unfortunately the couple didn’t have any chemistry and the presentation skills from Kelly left a lot to be desired. When she refused to ad lib, despite Paddy trying to force the situation, it was inevitable that she would not be co-hosting this year.…

Ken Bates issues Leeds Statement

Leeds United have issued a statement in response to Chelsea’s announcement that they have lodged a formal complaint with the Football Association against chairman Ken Bates. (In response to Bates’ attack on the 3rd August)

A club spokesman said: “We are totally amused and look forward to receiving their (Chelsea Football Club’s) detailed evidence to support their complaint.”

Meanwhile, Leeds chairman Ken Bates said: “I haven’t laughed so much since Ma caught her tits in the mangle.”

Leeds United will be making no further comment at this stage. This has to be one of the best football club statements EVER! Hail Ken Bates, our chairman! I absolutely love this come back against Chelsea! I’m not sure where Ken Bates’ original complaint will stand with the Football Association but Chelsea’s complaint will be laughed out of court – or at least I think it will!…

Paris Hilton’s Debut Album

I received an advanced copy of the new Paris Hilton album yesterday, aptly named “Paris”, it left me very disappointed. Not that I expected an Ivor Novello award winning album but I expected more! Without doubt the first single taken from the album “Stars Are Blind” is the best song on the album, full of Caribbean flavour it is a true summer single. Unfortunately nothing else on the album comes close to it, no ballads, no catchy tunes just the same old same old. View the Stars Are Blind Video at youtube
At times I found it difficult to listen to, her voice was monotonously monotoned throughout (not that I could do a better job) and she sang the majority of the tracks as if she was reading from a crib sheet, unaware of what the next lines was. It made the tracks uncomfortable to listen to and even taking into consideration that this album was a first attempt, I’m shocked her advisors let this go through as it did. Maybe I’m being a little unfair, it’s not that bad but it sure isn’t great. The album might be one of those cult albums people buy because it’s Paris Hilton and they want to see what she delivers.

As I mentioned earlier, my favourite track is “Stars Are Blind”, number three on the album. It has a great catchy tune and simple chorus, the video’s pretty good too! Every time I hear the song it reminds me of holidays in Barbados and sitting on the beach drinking cocktails, thinking less about the troubles of life as each drink takes effect! it’s such a shame she didn’t follow this line for the rest of the album. Following a statement by Beyonce that she used the diet to lose weight for a film have helped sales for Madal Bal Natural Tree Syrup soar! If Beyonce claims it worked for her there is no doubt that thousands of people will want to try this regime, however let’s not forget she also has an army of trainers and nutritionists to help her through any regime she wants.
