Love Island in Fiji !

Colleen Shannon - what a babe !!What on earth is going on in Fiji ? I know ITV bosses were desperate to attack C4′s Big Brother ratings (Gruniad story) but it appears to have failed. Let’s face it, the celebrities on Love Island are hardly A list ! Although I recognise them all only Shane Lynch and Sophie Anderton in the UK would turn heads, Colleen the playboy playmate would certainly turn heads in the US. But that’s it !!!! The sooner Sophie anderton gets evicted the better, she’s doing my head in and for no other reason than my sanity pleasevote her out ! Let’s face it she really should seek therapy when she leaves, she looks totally unhinged!
Sophie Anderton has lost the plot over her infauation with Shane Lynch (ex Boyzone member) and tells anyone who will or won’t listen that Shane is her man – Shane doesn’t know anything about this by the way! Shane has his eyes on the playboy playmate who in turn has four boys after her affections !! The only constant couple seems to be Bianca and Leo, youngsters of the group and both looks as if they have their collective heads screwed on !!!

On another crazy note today, despite being kicked off Love Island last Friday, Lady Hervey snuck back in to the resort much to the delight of her old friends !! I know she took her rejection badly but was there any need to do this ? Just shows how poor the security is in Fiji that a stick insect can get past the burly security guards un troubled !!! More here…

Big Brother – Who’s up for eviction !

I didn’t expect to write another entry on Big brother following my earlier one this afternoon but channel 4 have surprised us all by announcing who is up for eviction a day early – this means Dermot won’t get to do his stupid walk in the camera run in his zorro cape while BB announces who’s up !

In a twist to the norm following the “best friends” task the following couples will face eviction on Friday:-

Richard and Pete

Spiral and Michael

Susie and Imogen.

This is a difficult one for me to guess who will go but given two will leave the house this Friday I’m guessing Spiral and Michael will receive less votes than S and I. Richard and Pete will be safe thanks to Pete’s popularity. I am shocked that Ash and Jennie aren’t up given how many votes both tend to get on an individual basis. The twist this week is that C4 have announced that the viewers will vote to save a HM and not evict them.

Glyn and Mikey – no shock there (as long as they did nominate who they wanted to evict !) -both are well liked especially Glyn who seems to have a cult following in and out of the house !!! Even his Welshness has died down in recent weeks and given the numerous mentions in the first month or so I am amazed !! Anyone else have any opinions on the pairings up this week ?…

Big Brother – what’s happened ? !

I’ve had just about enough of this now, if I’m honest I got fed up with it 3 weeks ago. As long as I can remember I watched Big brother nightly without fail, sat down and watched the live feed either on E4 or the net and really got in to the various characters that made Big Brother worth watching. Unfortunately as far as I am concerned, the public have voted out the biggest characters and have condemned the series to a land of sleepy housemates who seldom have anything interesting to say day in day out. I also blame the producers, they have lost the plot choosing the wrong type of housemate this year, I just don’t see the sense in replacing evicted HM’s with people who have trialled previous Big Brothers. Surely if they weren’t good enough to get into the real thing then they shouldn’t be good enough now ? !!!

Building a second house while the HM’s were next door was also crazy and to allow even a glimmer of a hope that they would be rumbled is madness. Why go to all that expense when the secret is rumbled within hours due to noisy new HM’s i.e Jayne ? !!! Anyway, I’m sure Channel 4 will deem this year’s BB as a major success beating ITV’s Love Island in the ratings but for a die hard BB fan like myself it has lost it’s magic. Everyone, or should that read “most” HM’s going in to BB these days, has a plan, thinks they know what the public want etc What’s the point anymore ? BB7 is now as sleepy as BB4 was. Let’s hope BB8 is better for there is no doubt that it will be here same time next year, possibly with a shorter …
